Switching is an exciting word. To me it congures images exciting and scary, and might involve gender, wives, or drug habits.
But have you heard of this kind of switching - the one that your brain does?
Switching is one of the common side effects of stress, where normal brain coordination is compromised.
Memory lapses, confusion, self-destructive behavior, and mood swings are all symptoms of Switching. Dyslexia is also a symptom: reading letters back to front, turning left when one says right.
People who experience Switching can often go into self-destruct mode. They might be doing well on a diet; experience some stress, then go into self-destruct mode and break their diet with a vengeance.
Besides stress, one surprising cause of Switching is from the effects of strobe lighting. Even working under a faulty, flickering light will make one susceptible to the effects of Switching. Strobe lighting in nightclubs will encourage normally level-headed teenagers, who never drink or take drugs, to go into self-destruct mode and do things beyond their normal parameters of behavior.
The Bodytalk technique easily exposes where we tend to go into Switching-mode and can restore normal brain function. It also boosts ones tolerance to stress, and improve mental and physical performance. It’s done in a cinch too!
