Shhh. I am the Presidentess of a secret island nation. My country is so advanced, we have long rid ourselves of health issues, power struggles, arms races ('cause arms don't race that fast), animal abuse, and, of course, bacon. Now is not the time to withhold all that I know, and so I blog.

Two Super Foods that make me shimmer

Bella: Oh Edward, why could people not believe who you really are?!It’s a shame that editors pressured Stephanie Meyer to change the characters of Twilight. It was originally a love story about Edward - a young 300 year old vegan health enthusiast from my island nation; Jacob - a hamburger-eating mortal, jealous of Edward’s super-human prowess; and Bella - the impressionable love interest who can’t decide between the laws of nature and her cravings.

The shimmer of Edward’s skin and youthful looks of a tri-centennial were deemed implausible by the lords of publishing. Instead, they made Edward a vampire, Jacob a werewolf, and Bella the impressionable love interest who can’t decide between the laws of nature and her cravings.

He's one of ours. Jean Luc at 270, then again at 280.The pre-edited version would have a powerful message, Wouldn’t you agree?! Why is it so hard to believe that people can live well into their three hundreds? And shimmer?!

To think that people are prepared to live a fraction of their potential life span - and in Matte!

Here's a little Longevity 101: Our organs are engines that transform fuel into energy every second of every day. If we constantly rev our engine high in order to digest dense, dead, or complex food, engine parts are going to quit after a short time. You’ll look fabulous for a few years though, as demonstrated by the legitimate success of the Paleo diet. Revving that engine will burn all of your unsightly fat - until something breaks.

Spiritual leader and counselor for the popular "I'm a caveman and I'm OK" Summer Camp, Conan "Throw Me a Bone" Barbarian.Dietary guidelines of my island nation are based on super foods. Such foods contain vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants in concentrations exponentially higher than regular food. I know many people who consume as much as 95% of their diet in super foods, and experience a superior state of energy, mental acuity and agelessness. Here’s a leak about two of my favourite super foods from my nation.

  1. Super Blue Green Algae (Aphanizomenon Flos Aquae)

Klamath Lake, Oregon USAThis stuff is like rocket fuel. I climbed many a mountain eating dense, chewy morsels of photosynthesised, stuck-in-your-teeth chewiness. Spirulina is one thing - mortal but perfect! Super Blue Green Algae is another - the demigod of green super foods. My energy coffers overflow when I snack on this algae. It only grows in two lakes outside of my island nation – Klamath Lake and some obscure place in Africa. It’s 98% assimilable (Spirulina is 70%), and contains 300mg Chlorophyll (Spirulina is 115mg). It has loads more chromium and vitamin C than Spirulina. Don't get me wrong, Spirulina is still one of the most nutrition-dense foods in the world. This algae, however, is freakishly more loaded. I still enjoy Spirulina, when I can't get hold of Super Blue Green, and maintain an effortless feeling of wellness. It’s only when I compare my experiences with both of them that Super Blue Green Algae seems other-worldly! To learn more click here.

  1. Taiwanese High Mountain Oolong Tea (Om Madme Padme Om)

Taiwanese High Mountain Oolong TeaWhole leaf, sun dried and rolled. This tea is regarded as the finest tea on earth. High Mountain Oolong Tea contains 0.5% Caffeine, but contains natural stimulants that activate the nervous system by nourishing it rather than stressing it. It alkalinizes the digestive tract which will help to prevent the degenerative chain of events that begins with an acidic system. It has powerful cleansing and protective properties for the lungs, and loads of antioxidants that help our system stay free from developing cancers. Unlike green tea, Taiwanese High Mountain Oolong Tea can be drunk continuously throughout the day. I never pass an afternoon without a pot of the finest High Mountain Oolong. Effortlessly, this tea elicits an acute shift in my energy and mental acuity. There's also a wholesome feeling that is drawn from the ceremony of tea preparation. I'm beginning to suspect that a portal opens to a paralell universe where tea is tasted and time pauses in reverence to the occassion.

Most incredible of it's many superior aspects, is that the aroma has curative properties in addition to the nutrition we absorb from the tea through the blood system. To learn more click here.

I could list another eight powerful super foods that will make a significant difference to your wellbeing, but there is no space today. These first two super foods are deservedly the fore runners. For me, they alone turn up my light, and shimmer that inner universe like it was 1980.

Super foods are not solely responsible for people’s happiness and longevity, of course. Spiritual fortitude, clean living, and emotional wisdom are equally important factors to living an energetic, lucid and tranquil life.

OMG They sound so amazing! I want that right now! Ha ha to the Paleo diet! Well said, and I am sure I saw that guy Conan at last year's "I'm a caveman and I'm OK" camp!

I despised Twilight because they were vampires, werewolves and blank emotion. Your characters - or should I say Stephanie Meyer's - sound so much better. I would pick that book up in an instant and buy five for my friends. An instant hit I am sure!

Oh a 300 year old vegan health enthusiast who looks like Robert Patterson. Delish!
These foods sound amazing. I'm on to it!

I heard about this algae in the 90's! Then it dropped off the radar. What happened?

I thought this didn't exist anymore after Cell Tech dived. How amazing I can get some again! That tea sounds incredible too. Is there a tea ceremony associated with that?

Of course some of you are familiar with Klamath BGA (Blue Green Algae). Arie, the owner of the company that I linked this article to, helped me to understand what happend in those missing years (late 90's). Of course BGA is not the only algae that grows in Klamath Lake, and Cell Tech - one of the premier companies who put Klamath BGA into the hands of hundreds of thousands of people - didn't have the technology to filter out any unwanted varieties of algae. There was an algal bloom in the late 90's and their products contained a toxic variety of algae. Their business crashed, from the fall out of this event as well as financial mis-management, and they are no longer. A few of the remaining companies are just as old as Cell Tech, but they developed technology to source only the BGA they want, and have put in place very strict testing for each harvest. You can be sure you are only getting the algae that I have written about. It's probably a better product than what I first ate - and what blew my mind. So, that's what happened!

Referring to the question about tea ceremonies, this tea is indeed used for very special Tao ceremonies. The ceremony itself is not as strict as Japanese ceremonies, which use their own special variety of tea. The Taiwanese use the High Mountain Oolong tea to understand the way of the Tao, as well as to nourish their internal organs through senses associated with the five element system of Chinese Medicine.
